Doen of Waarheid
From concept to pilot, with the support of the Municipality of Eindhoven
After receiving the Social Design Talent Award, I used the €10,000 commission to further develop Doen of Waarheid in collaboration with Ergon, a social employment organization in Eindhoven. The original concept combined a physical object with a digital platform to support reflection and behavior change in social care.
Due to limited time and budget, we shifted away from the physical box and focused on creating a more flexible prototype. In the new setup, the coach selects and sends cards directly into the client’s home environment. Each card still presents a choice: Do (an assignment) or Truth (a reflective question), and comes with a unique code that links to a custom challenge on the online platform.
I also designed and developed a dashboard for coaches to manage participants, send challenges, and track responses. This tool gives social workers a clear overview of engagement and helps tailor their support based on real-time input.
This new version preserves the core intent of the concept, supporting meaningful reflection at home, while making it more practical and scalable in a real-world setting.
